ABOUT IIFM
Established in 1982 as an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India, IIFM was conceptualized in response to the recommendations of the National Commission on Agriculture. The impetus generated by these recommendations culminated in an alliance with the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad through which the philosophy and raison d’erte of IIFM was evolved. The Swedish International Development Agency also contributed financially and technically in establishing the Institute. Since its inception, IIFM has been home to some of the most brilliant young minds who are constantly raising the bar of excellence in this dynamic field. Situated in the City of Lakes, the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal is uniquely positioned in South Asia in its endeavour to blend the concepts of environment and development management with corporate management expertise.
FEES:
IIFM Provides high quality education at reasonable cost and total fee (including hostel fee) for the entire program, i.e., Rs. 4,80,000 for General/NC-OBC/DA and Rs. 2,88,000 for SC/ST candidates.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have at least a three year Bachelor's degree or rquivalent in any discipline with 50% marks aggregate (45% for SC/ST/DA (PWD) or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates appearing in final year of degree examination in 2018 can also apply provided they complete it before June 30,2018.
How to apply
Admission: Students for PGDFM are selects on the basis of CAT/XAt
score, WAT and Personal Interview.
Shortlisted candidates based on CAT 2017 or XAT 2018 scores are called for
written aptitude test (WAT) and personal interview (PI) will be held at Bhopal,
Bengaluru, Kolkata and New Delhi.
