(Notification) MP DMAT (Under Graduate Dental and Medical Admission Test) - 2016
MP DMAT (Under Graduate Dental and Medical Admission Test) is state level entrance exam which was conducted by the APDMC (Association of Private Dental and medical Colleges) in Madhya Pradesh. This year (2016) MP DMAT exam is replaced by NEET. The association only organizes a counselling process to get admission into MBBS/BDS programmes. In this article, we are providing the detailed information about MP DMAT 2016.
Qualification:
For Admission in MBBS/BDS:
- Candidates must have passed 12th examination from board of secondary education M.P. or CBSE with physics, chemistry and biology as a core subjects securing minimum 50% marks.
- Candidates who have cleared any 12th equivalent exam with any recognized board with physics, chemistry and biology with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply.
- Any other qualification recognized by the Government of India/ Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India is also eligible.
For Admission in BPT/B.Sc Nursing/ Other Allied Paramedical Courses:
- Candidates should have passed the 12th exam from board of secondary education M.P. or CBSE with passed in physics, chemistry and biology individually are eligible to apply.
- In case of admission in B.Sc Nursing, students should have passed in English also.
- Students who have passed equivalent exam from any recognized board or university are also eligible.

Candidates who have appeared any other qualification recognized by relevant council of India as recognized qualification for admission to BPT/B.Sc Nursing/ Other Allied Paramedical Courses are eligible to apply.
Age:
Candidates will get admissions in medical/dental colleges/ BPT/ B.Sc Nursing and other paramedical courses after the candidates have completed or will complete 17 years age on or before 31st December, 2016.
The Upper age limit is 25 years on or before 31st December, 2016.
Exam Pattern:
The MP DMAT exam will consist of only one paper. The question paper will consist of total 200 objective type questions. Questions will be asked from different subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Total 50 questions will be asked from each subject. Four optional answers will be provided for each question and candidates are required to choose the right one.

How to Apply:

Candidates can obtain the application form from selected SBI branches by doing the payment of Rs. 750/- in cash.

Application form can be also obtained from all participating colleges or associated office with payment of Rs. 750/- either in cash or demand draft. Demand draft should be in favour of APDMC payable at Bhopal.

Candidates can also download the application form from the official website by submitting the demand draft of Rs. 1500/- (for MBBS and BDS programme) and Rs. 750/- for other programmes. The draft should be drawn in favour of APDMC, payable at Bhopal.
