(About) CA-CPT: Common Proficiency Test
Common Proficiency Test will be conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) two times in one year that is once in 6 months. Qualified candidates of this examination will be allowed to pursue the CA course in this Institute. CPT is considered as the first stage in the CA course. CPT is conducted in June and December.

During its 67 years of existence, ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier accounting body not only in the country but also globally, for its contribution in the fields of education, professional development, maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards.ICAI now is the second largest accounting body in the whole world.
