(Notification) UPPCL: Recruitment of Assistant Accountant - 2016

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) invites application for the post of 256 Assistant Accountant. Apply Online before 28 October 2016.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Candidates shuld have Graduate in Commerce from a recognized university.
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : 18 to 40 years (as on 01.07.2016)

Selection Process :

Selection will be made on Written Test.

Exam Pattern:

Question paper will consist of two parts. There will be 50 Questions in the first part and 150 question in the second part. 1/4 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

First Part:

Questions in the first part will be based on the Computer Knowledge. Questions will be of O level of DOAECC.
Maximum no. of Questions – 50
Maximum no. of Marks – 50
Candidates must have to score at least 50 % in the first part. Otherwise the second part will not be evaluated.
1/4 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Second Part:

Questions in the second part of the question paper will be from :

General English and General Hindi
Arithmetic
Accountancy, Auditing and Income Tax (conforming to the graduation standard)

Application Fee :

SC/ ST Candidates of Uttar Pradesh have to pay Rs.600/- and Rs.900/- For Other candidates through by using net banking or by using visa/master credit/debit card or SBI Challan.
