(Notification) UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) - 2017

UPESEAT 2017 is the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test which is organized once in every year in the month of May. This is the university level entrance examination which will be organized by the UPES i.e. University of Petroleum UPESEAt-2017and energy sciences so as to offer the admission in the undergraduate engineering courses. The applicants who would like to enroll in this university can apply for this examination.

Eligibility:

The aspirant must have scored at least 60% in the higher or senior secondary level.
The compulsory subjects must be Physics, Chemistry, and Math.

For Board Merit list:

The candidate must have qualified higher or senior secondary level with the aggregate of 80% in Physics, Chemistry, and Math.

For JEE Main Merit:

The applicant must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in class 12th.

Age:

UPESEAT eligibility criteria states that student should be born on or after October 1, 1995. DOB recorded in Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Application Fee:

Rs 1850/-, if they are paying through Net Banking/DD/Debit card
1750/-, if they are paying through cash
US $ 75, for NRI/foreign candidates

Exam pattern:

The Exam pattern for the Exam of UPESEAT 2017 is illustrated here for the candidates. The exam is organized to check the applicant’s ability and, therefore, in order to qualify the examination with good percentile it is required to know the exam pattern completely. Read the necessary details here.

The exam will be objective in nature.
There will be total 200 questions.
There are five sections in the examination namely:

1. Physics
2. Current Affairs awareness
3. Chemistry
4. English language
5. Mathematics

Syllabus:

The syllabus would be same as that of JEE mains. Candidates are advised to prepare for the constituent subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language Comprehension, Current Affairs Awareness thoroughly for the exam.

Visit the official website of the conducting authority.
Now click the link for ‘Online Application Form’ and select your category whether you are an Indian Resident or Foreign Resident.
Now candidates need to purchase the admission prospectus through filling a form by providing necessary information.
Now click the submit button and your registration process is completed.
Post completion of registration procedure candidates will receive a mail to their mail id from the UPES.
Now, candidates are required to activate their account through the login credentials.
Now go to the application form link and fill up the form. Once you have filled the application form, you need to move to the application fee payment process.
