BHU UET 2016 – Banaras Hindu University conduct Undergraduate Entrance Test each year for various UG courses admission. BHU UET 2016 is generally held in April / May. BHU Admission 2016 is offered in Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, Science, Sanskrit, Education, Agriculture, Law. As has been the norm so far, Admission in BHU is looked forward to be done on the basis of merit obtained in BHU UET 2016, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements and availability of seat.

Eligibility Criteria :
The minimum qualification, candidates should have for appearing in BHU UET, is class 12th or its equivalent in the relevant field. Age criteria will differ according to the course choose by them. Before applying for this exam, candidates must ensure their eligibility in every possible aspect. Ineligible candidates are not allowed to apply for UET 2016.
Examination Pattern:
Knowing the exam pattern is an essential part in preparing for BHU UET 2016. exam pattern highlights details such as the following.
- Exam duration,
- Total number of questions asked,
- Maximum marks,
- Marking scheme (marks for correct answer, negative marks for incorrect answer).
As the BHU Entrance Test is for different courses, the exam pattern is different for each course.
There shall be a separate test for each course; however, there shall be common test for certain courses (as indicated below):

There shall be negative marking in entrance tests for all Courses of study in UET. Three marks shall be awarded for each correct answer while one mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted question will be awarded zero mark.

How To Apply
To apply for the the application, the candidate would need the following:
- An E-mail ID for registration and for receiving all future correspondence till the admission process is over and subsequently, if admitted.
- A Mobile Number to receive SMS based notifications/communications related to the online application, Admit card, Entrance Test Result, Admission Counseling etc till the admission process is over and subsequently, if admitted.
- Access to facilities of computer with internet connectivity, B/W printer and scanner.
- A recent passport sized colour photograph (for scanning and uploading in "jpeg" format only. File size of scanned photograph should not be more than 100KB).

Documents Required:
- Transfer Certificate.
- Migration Certificate, if passed from a university other than BHU (To be submitted not later than 90 days of admission).
- High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
- Intermediate (+2) Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
- Mark sheets of High School/equivalent & Intermediate (+2)/equivalent.
- Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination (Refer note clause below 21).
- UET Admit Card issued from the office of the Controller of Examinations, BHU.
- SC/ST/OBC/ OBC Certificate on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed.
- Certificate(s) in support of claim for ‘Sports Seats’.
- Certificate of being the son/daughter of a permanent in-service employee/Retired/Reemployed/ Deceased employee of BHU in the prescribed format issued by the Central Registry.
